GOD IS FAITHFUL
I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult it was for Abraham and Sarah to trust God. He has told them that they would have a son, but every circumstance in their lives were telling them differently. They were too old. They had no children already. It couldn’t be done. But the impossible became possible when in Genesis 21, we read about the birth of Isaac. God is faithful and His promises are true. Let us keep praying together and ask the Lord to do something unimaginable in our midst. Let’s continue to pray as a church family for the next few months here at Morningside; not that they will be comfortable, but that they will be meaningful. That we will see people of all ages trust in Jesus and serve Him with all their hearts. Now is the time! Let’s trust God’s faithfulness! Now the Lord was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah
what he had promised. Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him. Abraham gave the name Isaac to the son
Sarah bore him. When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him, as God commanded him. Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.
