First Time/Check-In

Visiting Morningside with your children for the first time?  Welcome!  This information will get you started.  We know your children are precious to you, so we provide a safe, clean and secure environment for them to enjoy. All children’s workers undergo a national criminal database check to ensure the safety of all our children. We have qualified and trained workers that are called to and love to teach your child. It is our pleasure to minister to your children!

Childcare for infants to 4 year olds is always available during our 8:30 worship, Bible Fellowship, 11:00 worship and 5:00 Authentic Worship.  All children birth – 6th grade are to be checked in at the doorway of their classroom on Sunday mornings. If visiting for the first time, you will need to register your child in the doorway of their respective classroom. If your child is newborn - 4 years old, you will receive a pager to notify you should any needs arise for your child.

On Wednesday nights, the same check in process is in place for birth – 4year olds. Children, kindergarten - 3rd grade, will check-in at the foyer of the Fellowship hall and need to be picked up at the same location. Preteens may be checked in by a parent or the preteen him/herself at the Summit room.

If your child is attending Kids Worship after Bible Fellowship, you will mark the “Kids Worship” box on their Bible Fellowship check-in sheet. At the conclusion of Bible Fellowship, one of their teachers will walk them to Kids Worship where they will be signed in. At the end of 11:00 worship, parents will come to the Building E and sign their children out. If your child will not be staying for Kids Worship, you will need to pick them up at their classroom after Bible Fellowship.
