Serve
"Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly." Romans 12:6 (NAS)
As the church grows and strives to serve the needs of its members and fulfill our mission, there is an ongoing need for individuals to serve in leadership roles. Each member of Morningside possess a spiritual gift, talent, natural ability, previous experience and a personality that makes them uniquely suited to serve in some capacity.
All spiritually mature Christians should be leaders in one or more ministries. God made and save us to serve Him. Growing in Christ should result in our becoming leaders in our congregations. Leading denotes people will follow. It all begins by recognizing everyone is wonderfully and naturally endowed to become the best leader they can be.
The place to start is with your willingness. Then consider the possibilities available to you. Consult leaders who can assist you in reaching your goal. Then step out on faith and see what God can do through you.
