THE ARMOR OF GOD (Ladies Only)

All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you-unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study authored by Priscilla Shirer, is for you. Student workbooks are available in class for $13.

Wednesday, August 9, 6:30 – 7:30PM, 7 Sessions. Location: CMC 240. Facilitator: Jessica Knight and Aly Mock

THE STRATEGY OF SATAN: How to Detect and Defeat Him

This course, based on the book by Warren W. Wiersby, is about Satan and the strategy he has to wreck your Christian life and (if possible) destroy you. Four persons in the Old Testament had a direct confrontation with Satan. From their experiences you’ll learn: the targets Satan aims at in your life; the weapons he uses to attack you; the purposes that he wants to achieve; and, the defenses God has provided for you.

Wednesday, August 9, 6:30 – 7:30PM, 11 Sessions. Location: CMC 245. Facilitator: Donald King

The Minor Prophets carry a major message and the message applies to the people of God then and now. Now and then, the people of God need to change the nature of their
relationship to God.  He asks His people to adjust their relationship with Him for His sake and for the sake of His activity in the world.  “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son….”

The world is changing and people can change but the human heart -with reference to its relationship with God- remains the same; it chooses to obey or disobey, submit or rebel, reject or receive.

Wednesday, August 9, 6:30 – 7:30PM. Location: Family Theater. Facilitator: Thad Smith

Prayer is a powerful tool and conduit for your relationship with God. God wants His people to pray yet His people say, “Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1).

The Lord wants to teach you to pray and He uses His servants to do so.  So, you can begin to utilize the tool and conduit of prayer as never before with The Prayer of the Righteous.
Wednesday, August 9, 6:30 – 7:30PM. Location: CMC 237. Facilitator: Pastor Joseph Oloyede
