Text: Psalms 51
Summary: It seems people have a desire to finish strong in whatever is going on in their lives. Unfortunately, life’s setbacks and our failures leave us tired, feeling defeated, and wondering if it’s too late to get the desired outcome we long for. For many of us finishing strong may look like winning the last game of the season, or just winning a game. It may look like getting a promotion at work or avoiding a layoff. We may even look at finishing strong as starting a good habit or kicking a bad one. For some it may look like getting out of bed on a hard day. We can find ourselves asking if it’s possible to recover… are we too far gone… or have we fallen too far… is our sin bigger than God’s grace? Whatever finishing strong looks like to you, God the Father offers the hope of redemption and restoration to us through Jesus.
: It is never too late to find redemption and restoration in Jesus when we humble ourselves before God.
