Neighborhood Pray & Walk - Saturday, March 16th at 10:00 am.  Please join us as we walk through the Morningside neighborhood to invite our neighbors to our Spring Craft Fair and the Men's Ministry Cookout.  We will meet in the Fellowship hall. If you are unable to walk, you can join others on campus in prayer for our upcoming outreach events. 

5th Sunday Breakfast Fellowship will be Sunday, March 24th (Palm Sunday) during our Bible Fellowship time. Since the 5th Sunday is Easter, we are moving it back one week. All adult classes will meet in the Fellowship Hall and everyone is asked to bring a breakfast item to share. Please come and enjoy fellowship and good food! 

American Red Cross blood drive will be held at Morningside on Tuesday, March 12th from 2 pm to 7 pm in our Fellowship Hall.  Volunteers are needed to check in donors. Please contact Julie Ann Crane at jacrane@morningsidebaptist.com to volunteer.  You can sign up to donate at redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code MBC or call 1-800-RED-CROSS. 

Thanks to all the members of our CarePortal team who have prayed for this mission, donated items and taken time out of their busy schedules to make deliveries to families in need. We have responded to seven requests in January and February.  Thanks to Shay and Barbara Ingle, we now have a storage room to accept GENTLY USED items such as children's clothes, twin mattresses, bedding, mattress covers and bed frames. Baby beds, car seats, strollers and Pack & Plays can also be accepted. Please contact Kathy Belt or Barbara Ingle to make any donations.

Our next Widows' Ministry luncheon will be Thursday, March 7th at 11:30 in the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $10 per person and sponsors will call for reservations. 

We are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on March 30th  from 12 pm - 2 pm on our campus. This event is open to families with children up to 5th grade involved with Wednesday Breakout and Sunday School/Kids Worship. Collection bins for individually wrapped candy and eggs have been set out around the campus for easy drop off. We will need volunteers in setting up/cleaning the day of the event.  Contact Barbara Port, bport@morningsidebaptist.com, for more information or to volunteer.

Great things are happening here at the Weekday Preschool!  Pre-Registration for the 2024/25 school year is in full swing! If you haven’t already done so, you are encouraged to visit our website and reserve your student’s spot today as spots are filling up quickly! The Global Missions Committee will highlight and support the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. This year's week of prayer is March 3-10; prayer guides and offering envelopes will be handed out during this week. The offering will be received through Easter. This offering is used to support the missionaries of the North American Mission Board.

International Friendship Ministries will host their 2024 Fundraiser Luncheon on Tuesday, March 26th at the St. Luke Ministry Center from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. The guest speaker is Stephen Kendrick of the Kendrick Brothers Films. More information is available at www.ifmga.org/events.
