Becoming human—truly human—requires some serious divine intervention. But it’s God’s plan for you that you should grow each and every day to be more like the only perfectly human being who ever lived: Jesus.

For this five-week series, Pastors Jonathan and Zach will offer a biblical perspective on what it means to be truly human.

Lessons in Becoming Human
Lesson 1 - Our human “equipment” is not what makes us truly human.
Lesson 2 - We can never be truly human alone
Lesson 3 - The choices we make … make us human, or not.
Lesson 4 - Feelings make us human; not feeling makes us less so.
Lesson 5 - How and what we worship will make us more (or less) human.

On Mothers' Day, be sure to pick up your baby bottle in the Gathering Room and start collecting change in it. The funds collected will go to Sound Choices Pregnancy Clinic in Columbus. Filled baby bottles will be collected on Fathers' Day.

We are proud of our upcoming high school graduates and we desire to publicly recognize their achievement. On Sunday, May 16th, our graduates will be recognized during the worship service. If your student plans to participate in the Graduate Celebration, please email Pastor Zach (zach@morningsidebaptist.com) by Friday, May 7th for more information.

If your elementary-aged kid is interested in Summer Camp, please contact Pastor Zach as soon as possible. Camp Pinnacle in Clayton, GA is hosting a two-night Mom & Me camp for girls, and Camp McCall in Sunset, SC is hosting a three-night Alpha camp for boys. Kids who have completed K-6 can attend these camps. Both camps offer biblical teaching, worship, missions education, and outdoor adventures.

The cost is $40 and registration is due by May 11th. Lunch (included) is at noon with a shotgun start at 1:30.
