God cares about your heart. And he wants you to care about it too—more so than any other part of you. “Above all else,” he says, “guard your heart.” Protect it. Keep it safe. Why? Because: “Everything you do flows from it” (Proverbs 4:23).
A healthy heart keeps you alive. Your entire body relies on the flow created by the fist-sized blood-pump keeping time in your chest. You’d do well to take care it!
The heart God is most concerned about, however, isn’t made of muscle. Harder to find, and easier to damage, this heart is the center of who you are. It is the place from which you speak and feel, hurt and hope. More than this, your heart is home to all you treasure most.
If you’ll let him, God will make it his home.

Summer Camp
for Kids!
If your elementary-aged kid is interested in Summer Camp, please contact Pastor Zach as soon as possible. Camp Pinnacle in Clayton, GA is hosting a two-night Mom & Me camp for girls, and Camp McCall in Sunset, SC is hosting a three-night Alpha camp for boys. Kids who have completed K-6 can attend these camps. Both camps offer biblical teaching, worship, missions education, and outdoor adventures.

We are so excited to announce that our Morningside logo is now available on apparel, hats, drinkware, and window decals. Now you can let everyone know that you attend Morningside. This could be a great conversation starter with the people you encounter and a way to invite them to church.
For now, orders will be taken using paper order forms and checks payable to Safeguard. If there is enough interest, we hope to set up online ordering at a future date. The deadline for orders is June 28th. Sample sizes of the shirts will be available in the Gathering Room on Sunday mornings or in the church office during business hours. Band of Brothers Breakfast
No man can fight alone. With a band of brothers, the men of Morningside can rise to the calling placed by God to lead our families and our church through the lives we live. Join us for breakfast on Saturday, June 19 at 9 a.m. as we hear from Dr. Leland McClusky. He will be sharing with us his calling to minister through medicine throughout the world. Dr. McClusky has spent much time on the mission field as well as working with Samaritan's Purse.
“Freely" in-home worship services
Morningside members have opportunities this summer to participate in “Freely” in-home worship services. Pastor Jonathan and Chris Trammell will lead family gatherings in various homes starting in June. A sign-up table will be available in the gathering room on Sunday mornings. Summer Hours for the Library are Wednesday mornings from 9:00 – 12:00. There are lots of great selections for your summer reading. We also have puzzles and movies for you to enjoy as well.
