Sun of righteousness, rise: lessons in longing & hope
If you’ve ever been hungry with nothing to eat… If you’ve ever been sick with no healing in sight… If you’ve ever had to wait too long for important answers… Then you know what longing feels like. Jesus is God’s answer to every longing heart. He comes to bring us joy! And while we wait, we must learn to long with hope.
LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING

December is the time when we collect a special offering for International Missions through the Lottie Moon Offering. Special offering envelopes are available in the pew racks and at the Welcome Center. The week of prayer is November 28th – December 5th. Daily prayer reminders will be emailed so you can pray for these missionaries serving around the world. As part of this offering, our Morningside Christmas card mailbox will return. You may place your addressed Christmas cards to church members in the mailbox located in the Gathering Room. Instead of postage, please make a donation to Lottie Moon. Be sure to check the mailbox to see if you have any cards. The church office will not be able to mail any cards not picked up by January 15th.
