All things new

Our world is broken. We see it everywhere we look, the signs that everything is not alright - that we are not alright. How did things get this way? What went wrong? If God is good, why is life so hard?

To everyone willing to listen, God is telling the story of this world, his world. The world may be broken - we may be broken - but the Hero of our story is hard at work making all things new. He will finish his work one day. His invitation to you is to let him work on you and in you, for you and through you, until this glorious final chapter comes to pass.

Don't miss a single chapter in this epic 14-week retelling of the story behind the history of the world!

SATURDAY, MARCH 25

10 am - 2 pm

weems road parking lot

There will be vendors from our previous events plus some new ones. The deacons will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs for purchase.

On Saturday, March 11th at 9:30 and Sunday, March 19th following our worship service , we will have Pray&Walk events. For those able and willing to walk the neighborhood and knock on doors and leave doorhangers, we invite you to join us. If you are unable to walk, or just not comfortable knocking on doors, we invite you to come to the church and pray as others are out in the neighborhood. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall afterwards to celebrate.

Morningside kids

The Children's Ministry has a LOT going on! The children of MBC will be putting on the Spring Musical of Back to the Cross on Saturday, May 21st at 6pm. Rehearsals begin at 5:30 on Wednesday nights in the Family Center Multi-Purpose Room. We will NOT have Breakout 4/5.

We are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on April 8th from 11 am - 2 pm at Cook's Farm in Harris County. This event is open to families with children involved with Wednesday Breakout and Sunday School/Kids Worship. Collection bins for individually wrapped candy and eggs have been set out around the campus for easy drop off. We will need volunteers in setting up/cleaning the day of the event. A "picnic lunch" will be served so look for information soon about how you can sponsor lunch for a family. Contact Barbara Port, bport@morningsidebaptist.com, for more information or to volunteer.

Great things are happening here at the Weekday Preschool! The participants had a great time enjoying activities, food, and fellowship, and we are looking forward to our next event! Pre-Registration for the 2023/24 school year is in full swing! If you haven’t already done so, you are encouraged to visit our website and reserve your student’s spot today as spots are filling up quickly!
