Welcome barbara Port
A very special welcome to Barbara Port, Children Ministry Director! Barbara comes to us after several years of serving at Morningside's Christian Preschool and a brief tenure on the staff of Cascade Hills in their Children’s Ministry. On Sunday, September 11th, we encourage you to come and meet Barbara immediately following the worship service in the first floor lobby of the Family Ministry Center.
This month we say farewell to Pastor Zach Masdon as he launches out in a new ministry direction. We have been blessed to get to know Zach, Karalee, and their beautiful children these past two years. Though we are sad to see them go, we are gratified to know they are following God’s leading. Be sure to pray for them and give each Masdon a big hug as they prepare to move forward!

We are looking for vendors and food trucks/providers. There will be a planning meeting for all who signed up to help or anyone interested in helping on Wednesday, September 7th at 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

COLLEGE & YOUNG ADULTS
YOUNG ADULT BREAKFAST | EVERY FIRST SUNDAY
It’s time to bring back one of our favorite opportunities for our church to minister and get to know our young adults! If you ask any college student they will tell you, if there is food people will come. The College & Young Adult Bible Fellowship will have breakfast the first Sunday of each month during the school year. If your Bible Fellowship class would be willing to sponsor a breakfast, please contact Jonathan Knight so we can put your class on the schedule. If you are not familiar with the process, it is very simple. Someone (or a few people) from your class will volunteer to bring breakfast to the young adults on the Sunday you choose and are scheduled. Our young adults invite friends to breakfast. Your Bible Fellowship class is encouraged to fellowship with our students during the breakfast time 9:00-9:20 am so that one generation can influence another! If you have any questions or would like to sign up, please call or text Jonathan Knight 706-366-2533.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SMALL GROUP
Beginning Wednesday, September 14 at 7:45 pm in the NextGen Center we resume our Wednesday night small group. Matthew Wacter will lead this time of fellowship, worship, and Bible study.
